About halfway through the Kingsman Secret Service there is a fight scene where Colin Firth who goes absolutely nuts and beats the crap out of a bunch of scummy, racist, homophobes in a church while the guitar solo from Freebird plays in the background. This amazing fight scene lasts for a little over 3 minutes with the camera cutting away every now and then to show other characters reactions from outside of the church. While this fight scene was amazing, it is nothing compared to the original that was 7 minutes long and appeared to only be one take. The fight scene was cut down after the writer of the original comic, Mark Millar, was shown the scene and decided that it was a bit too extreme. Somewhere out there, is a 7 minute long video of Colin Firth running through a church punching, kicking, shooting and stabbing racists and we’re not allowed to see it.
