Keep the Forum system on the FANDOM network.
The Issue
This is a desperate time.
One of the features we know and love on information sharing, community based website FANDOM is being removed soon.
This feature is Forums.
Forums were an amazing feature for many groups. Whether you are a wiki making stories, or you just want to discuss an important thing you saw on the latest episode of Riverdale - Forums were the way to go. Easy, efficient, and a common formula used in forums sites everywhere. People loved them.
Forums are being removed now.
With the removal of highlighting forums (and letting you know other important stuff like when someone literally posts on your message wall) we all know that the inevitable is coming. And we can't even stop it. FANDOM doesn't listen to us, and instead forces the new 'Discussions' and 'Announcements' features down our throats. They are cool features, sure; but they will never replace the special place in my heart that Forums take up right now.
This is dire. We need to be able to save the forums and save our notifications - else wikis will die. They will leave. With no efficient bug-free way of communicating, how will we get along?
So sign this petition, users of FANDOM. To make sure that our Forums stay alive, to make sure their legacy continues to live, to make sure we have a better place to discuss the matters that are important to us - to make sure that we have a community.
What are you waiting for?
