Most marching bands that are hbcu’s usually have a marching band with a dance line and a color guard team. While plenty of females are interested into going to FAMU but they also when wanna dance with the band while there at FAMU. I believe that the marching 100 should at least try having a dance line for 1 year and if doesn’t work out there doesn’t have  to be another one after it. But if and when it does work they should continue having a dance line.
