Family’s plea to free Chris Must List from Trinidad

Family’s plea to free Chris Must List from Trinidad
The Issue
UPDATE:
Chris is currently out on bail in Trinidad. Our family kindly asks for privacy, as we are still in the process of addressing this matter with our team.
We greatly appreciate all of the support locally and globally. This petition is still open/ongoing and accepting as many supporters as possible.
Thank you
ATTENTION!!!! This announcement is from Chris' family. Chris Must List has been held by police in Trinidad (Port of Spain) since May 28th and is NOT being released. They have no reason to hold him, they do not allow a lawyer present during questioning whatsoever, and have his hands locked throughout this time. They want to keep him for another 4 days or more and have no reason to. We've been in touch with a lawyer in Trinidad who is to represent him but they are not giving him the opportunity to have him present to assist Chris further. Global Affairs in Canada and Trinidad are involved.
Recent update posted below and in another post from Chris' family:
Hello everyone, as an update - we are currently working around the clock with the authorities and global affairs in Canada and Trinidad.
We appreciate all of your support and outreach - at this time, there will be no back and forth messages to provide further detail/responses as we are primarily focusing our energy on the matter at hand but we are hard at work to ensure progress.
We kindly ask refraining contacting embassy and global affairs as to allow us to continue our progress without interruption to the team assisting us at this time and not to interrupt or interfere with the process.
We thank you for your kind words and understanding. Our family and the people we are working with closely require privacy at this time and need to time to put our efforts and focus into getting Chris out safely.
Thank you.
