In May 2016, the California Supreme Court will hear a class action suit detailing family law issues that have been plaguing our communities for decades. Our partners in San Diego have worked tirelessly to bring these issues to the attention of the state legislature, the State Bar and our highest state court, and this year the issues will finally be addressed. Parents and Grandparents in both Northern and Southern California are joining to add media and other pressure to this historic event, with the hope that family law litigants will finally get some relief from a system fraught with systemic abuses that do no good, and plenty of harm to our state's most vulnerable citizens.
