Since 1999 Brian Griffen has been apart of everyone's lives. From his drinking to his writing, he has been a lovable character. An episode with him in there just completes the show. He may act like a douche sometimes, but thats who he is and that is why we love him. But sadly, on November 24, 2013 his life was terminated purposfully by his creator and voice actor Seth MacFarlane.

So why did this happen?

Family Guy producers said it was time for a change, and the death of the Griffins' family pet was reportedly at the top of their morbid to-do list. “This was an idea that got pitched in the writers' room, and it sort of caught fire, and we thought it could be a fun way to shake things up,” he said. “We started talking about what the next couple episodes could be and we got very excited about the way this change will affect the family dynamics and the characters."

For a cartoon show about fun plots and slap-stick humor and where characters never age anyways, what is the point of killing off a main character? Is it because everyone else is doing the same? HBO, Showtime, The Simpsons (and that wasn't even a main figure)? If it's becuse other shows are doing it, why does Family Guy have to take the bandwagon approach.

Brian Griffen wasn't just some side guy. He completed the cast, everyone had a place in that show, and just tossing him out after 14 years to replace him instantly with a new dog and a new personality is not going to sit well with me or the other millions of viewers out there.

This petition is to bring back Brian Griffen, and undo this terrible decision by the producers. Stewie has the technology in the show to bring his pal Brian back, it will now just be in the hands of the writers and producers to hear from us and take in our feedback.
