We, the undersigned parents, carers and community members, call on Transport for NSW and the Department of Education to review and improve school bus services to Eagle Vale Sports High School for students living in the Camden and Wollondilly Local Government Areas.

Many students face long, complicated journeys involving multiple bus transfers or have no practical public transport option available. This creates unnecessary barriers to accessing the incredible sports programs, education and participating fully in school life.

We ask that Transport for NSW and the Department of Education consider introducing a dedicated school bus service or improving existing routes to provide a safe, reliable and efficient journey for students travelling to and from Eagle Vale High School from the Wollondilly and Camden LGA. Currently both areas face up to three bus transfers or a train and two bus transfer each route. If just one service runs late, school students are left stranded.

Every child deserves fair and accessible transport and an opportunity to access incredible sporting opportunities. 

Please support this petition if you believe families in Camden and Wollondilly should have better access to safe and practical school transport for their HPGE student to travel to Eaglevale sports high school.
