We need your help!

We are campaigning to get a 25/50m swimming pool built in Falmouth, Cornwall, UK that would serve the whole community, create jobs and be a much needed and positive contribution to what is one of the busiest and most progressive towns in Cornwall. The current inadequate facilities available to the population of Falmouth (and surrounding areas) means that individuals and groups are at a disadvantage in comparison to other areas. 

A critical strategy in the fight to improve population health and wellbeing is to focus on communities (Edwards, 2015). Most groups and individuals who reside in Falmouth (and the surrounding area) would benefit from a 25/50m pool being built and with the correct ethos and foresight, a profitable and sustainable model could be developed that would create a pool which would remain an economically self sustaining asset to the community.

Learning to swim is vital; having a decent public pool that ALL can use means more people can learn to swim, keep fit and healthy, train to save lives and so much more.
