GMHS had originally intended to return to school on the 4th of January but has now decided to move the start date back to the 21st of January in order to return on the first day of the new semester. The senior SCA would like to propose that the class of 2021 be used as a trial program and return on the 4th, this would give teachers and administration the chance to see how the school will operate with a small sample size and give the senior class more time with their classmates before graduation. The class of 2021 has missed out on prom, homecoming, their last-first day, sitting in the old GMHS alcoves, and so much more, giving them this extra time would mean the world to them. A week may not make up for the 8 months online but at least it is time to be with each other before the Mustangs of 2021 say goodbye to Mason.
