We are appalled at the budget proposals by Falkirk Council to withdraw all staff from Community Centres.

The Grange Centre provides a valuable resource to the community as a whole and to the young and the elderly in particular.  The size and complexity of the Centre are such that it would not be possible for the volunteer members to run the Centre so the proposed withdrawal of support will ensure that the Centre will cease to exist and a community facility will be lost forever.
