Falkirk Youth Theatre have performed the local pantomime in Falkirk for the last 47 years however after December 2017 they will no longer be allowed to do so. Falkirk Community Trust has decided that in order to make more money they will take this opportunity away from the young people of Falkirk (ages 7-18) and give it to a professional company instead. This however has saddened many members of the cast including myself who eagerly wait for the next Panto’s rehearsals to begin. By doing this my Family (Falkirk Youth Theatre) will be split up and no longer able to come together and produce the amazing Panto’s they put on year after year. I have created this petition for my family who just wish that this year will not be the last time they sing “Merry Christmas Everyone”.
