This petition is to see how many people would be interested in opening a Faith based Youth Center. We have lost activities in the county that the kids could really do after school and while sports are good, not every kid is into a sport...and that is okay! I would like to see how interested we are as a county to get a Youth Center up and running. This would be catered more towards middle school and high school students.

As stated previously, it would be a Faith Based venture. While everyone will be accepted and loved no matter what, our youth will be introduced and talked to about Jesus; along with the love and sacrifice that He made for us.  Not only will they be introduced to Jesus, but they will also have a safe space to talk through tough situations, get help with homework, get mentored, and so much more. 

My hopes are that this Youth Center is a music venue with some other fun entertainment/hang out spot attached. If you are interested in something like this, coming to Muhlenberg County, giving back to our youth, and INVESTING in our youth please sign this petition! There are a couple of avenues that might be able to be taken to get something like this off the ground. Everything is open right now, but the first step is seeing how much our community would be behind a venture like this.

Along with opening this center for our local youth, it could even reach youth of neighboring counties as well! Let's come together and invest in our future because the Youth is our future!
