Animals continue to be trapped and farmed and killed for their fur.

While many companies and fashion houses have pledged to go fur-free, the Fairmont Empress Hotel in Victoria, BC, Canada is still selling a large volume of fur coats and accessories. They sell these through two companies ; 'Collections by 5th Avenue' and 'London Towne Boutique'.

Out of 20 Fairmont properties across Canada, five still sell real animal fur. 

We, the petitioners insist that the Empress and all Fairmont properties in Canada make a pledge to go completely fur-free by 2025. The Fairmont must re-examine which companies they do business with and update their business model to eliminate animal exploitation, suffering and death for fashion.
