Rename Sangster Elementary School

The Issue

Sangster Elementary in Fairfax County VA is a school named after Confederate soldiers. The members of the Sangster family were Edward and Mary Sangster and their three sons, Thomas, John and James Sangster. The three Sangster sons fought for the Confederacy. Thomas and John both died in the Civil War fighting for the Confederacy. James survived. James was a postmaster and slave owner. James transported silver and gold out of Richmond for the Confederate treasury shortly before Union troops were about to invade, according to Fairfax County Schools. THE SCHOOL MUST BE RENAMED!
