This petition requests that the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors vote to adopt a resolution declaring Fairfax County a Second Amendment Sanctuary.

What this does is declare that Fairfax County will not voluntarily assist the State of Virginia in enforcing illegal and unconstitutional restrictions on our right to self-defense, and shows the Governor of Virginia that we, the people of this state, value our rights as enumerated in the Second Amendment and in Article 13 of the Constitution of Virginia.
