Sharise Sutherland-Kayseas is an Indigenous woman, still being held after two years, with no trial, on two counts of first degree murder, at Pine Grove Correctional Facility for Women, in Saskatchewan.  

The longer she is locked up, the more chance there is for an inmate to trade false testimony against Sharise for a reduced sentence.  

Meanwhile, Indigenous women at Pine Grove are routinely abused physically and denied medical attention. 

We the undersigned demand the following:

1) a fair trial for Sharise Sutherland-Kayseas, such as any white person of privilege would receive;

2) an end to solitary confinement at Pine Grove, justified with administrative loopholes;

3) an end to all inhumane, racist and abusive practices at Pine Grove Correctional, including life threatening intimidation, physical violence and medical neglect;

4) no evidence obtained through legalized forms of bribery or coercion;

5) Full and complete answers explaining how every woman at Pine Grove has died.
