A Dhaka court on Wednesday summoned the investigation officer of journalist couple Sagar Sarowar and Meherun Runi murder case. Court sources said the investigation officer was summoned by Dhaka metropolitan magistrate Mazharul Islam due to protraction in submitting the investigation report to the court. The deadline for submitting the report ends today (Wednesday). Assistant police superintendent (RAB) Mohiuddin Ahmed is investigating the case. Maasranga Television news editor Sagar Sarowar and his wife ATN Bangla senior reporter Meherun Runi were found dead at their rented apartment in the city’s West Rajabazar area on 11 February 2012.
