Many jobs are available in NSW for Tow Truck Drivers. Many drivers apply for these jobs off expensive job websites like SEEK. 

Each individual asks “how do you get a tow truck drivers licence?” We tell them to apply on the website. 

They call back to tell us to disregard the application as they were told up 8 weeks. (We know it’s sometimes longer)

This is an industry that needs new talent. Not just “hop around - swappers”.. 

The industry needs to have other options instead of putting up with what’s out there. 

We propose an instant “Tow Truck Drivers Permit” signed by the applicant that if his or her application is not successful, they must resign from the company they are working with immediately. 

Only applicants with jobs lined up with a licenced tow truck company with agreed with the licence holder are eligible. 

This then leaves the responsiblity with the licence holder to ensure the permitted driver is terminated. 

We are sure this is a better way of attracting new, professional & appreciative persons in this industry.
