Fair Payments for People Who Sell Things and Do Work Online - No Payoneer

Fair Payments for People Who Sell Things and Do Work Online - No Payoneer
The Issue
We're worried about how websites like Upwork, Etsy, and eBay handle payments for people who sell things or do freelance work. Right now, they mostly use a company called Payoneer for payments, but it's causing a lot of problems.
Payoneer's customer service isn't helpful. They often use robots to answer questions, and even if you've been a good seller or freelancer, they might still give you trouble.
Sometimes, their agents suggest creating a new account when you ask about changing from an individual to a company account. However, if you follow their advice, they abruptly close both your old and new accounts without providing any explanation. When you try to inquire about this issue, you typically receive a standard email response that fails to address your concerns. Unlike PayPal, there is no option available to convert the account type easily.
Another big issue is when Payoneer locks up your money, even if the customer who bought something from you says it's okay to release it. This hurts sellers a lot, and it makes the websites look bad too.
Sometimes, Payoneer blocks legitimate payment accounts for no good reason, even if the money comes from trusted sources like Etsy or eBay. They say it's because of "suspicious activity," but it's hard to understand how selling things on eBay or Etsy or doing work on Upwork can be suspicious.
In the past, websites like Etsy and eBay used PayPal, which was much better. But now, they've switched to Payoneer, which has made things worse for sellers and freelancers.
We want websites like Upwork, Etsy, and eBay to fix these problems. They should either make Payoneer's customer service better or give us other ways to get paid. Companies like PayPal and Wise are better examples of payment solutions with good customer service and fair policies.
Please sign this petition to show your support for fair payment solutions for sellers and freelancers. Let's work together to make things better for everyone.
When you sign this petition, please share your experiences, including times when Payoneer blocked your account for no good reason. Your stories will help show why we need better payment options.
