Fair Pay, Moderation, and Transparency for WooPlus Streamers

Fair Pay, Moderation, and Transparency for WooPlus Streamers
The Issue
Petition for Fair Pay and Fair Moderation for WooPlus Streamers:
WooPlus was created to uplift plus-sized bodies and voices, promising a body-positive, bullying-free space where women of all shapes, sizes, and shades could feel celebrated. Sadly, the treatment of its streamer community today stands in sharp contrast to those values.
Streamers are the backbone of the WooPlus platform. Yet many are facing unfair pay, lack of transparency, intimidation, and inconsistent moderation that threatens both their livelihoods and well-being.
Unfair and Unequal Pay Practices
Recently, WooPlus streamers came together to discuss fair compensation and legally required transparency under U.S. FTC disclosure laws. Through these discussions, it became clear that streamers are receiving wildly different commission rates—ranging from 15% to 30%—with unequal and unclear requirements.
Some streamers earn 30% with no minimum client spending required, while others must generate significantly more diamonds (60 diamonds = $1 of client spend) just to qualify for 15–20%. This lack of consistency and transparency is deeply unfair.
Illegal Silencing and Retaliation
WooPlus has attempted to force streamers to sign contracts prohibiting them from disclosing paid partnerships and commissions—an action that directly violates U.S. FTC laws. Streamers are legally required to disclose any paid partnership or financial benefit, and contracts that forbid this are unlawful.
After more streamers began speaking up, WooPlus introduced a so-called “universal tiered contract” that effectively cuts streamer earnings by an estimated 25–50%, starting January 24, 2026, at the launch of the Miss Curvy Traveler Season. This means many streamers could lose half of their monthly income overnight.
When streamers attempted to negotiate or collectively express concern, they were met with hostility and intimidation. WooPlus even moved the contract signing deadline earlier—from January 24 to January 20—further pressuring vulnerable creators who rely on this income, often earning far below minimum wage.
Inconsistent and Biased Moderation
Streamers have also observed selective enforcement of WooPlus’s rules. Some high-earning streamers are allowed to violate policies regarding nudity and adult content with minimal consequences, while others—often newer or lower-earning creators—face harsh penalties, including commission reductions and permanent bans.
The anti-bullying policy is also inconsistently enforced, leaving many streamers unprotected from harassment and abuse.
Our Demands
We are calling on WooPlus to honor its original mission and treat its streamers fairly. We demand:
• A transparent commission structure allowing streamers to earn 30–60% of viewer spending, in line with industry standards
• An independent, unbiased moderation team to fairly handle reports, bans, and bullying complaints
• 24/7 live support for streamers, especially during the Miss Curvy Competition, to address urgent issues in real time
Streamers deserve fair pay, transparency, and protection. Without them, WooPlus cannot claim to be a body-positive or empowering platform.
Sign this petition to stand with WooPlus streamers and demand accountability, fairness, and respect.
