Fair funding for the Early Years Sector

Fair funding for the Early Years Sector
The Issue
Nurseries and early years settings are facing closure with the current funded hourly rate that has been offered by the government. The hourly funded rate has gone up 5% whilst the minimum wage has increased between 10%-21%. With the other nursery costs this is simply not sustainable.
If something is not implemented soon to enable nurseries and childcare settings to continue it will have a huge impact for working families and the economy and will inevitably close settings.
It is vital to keep childcare setting open in your community. Please sign and share the petition. We care deeply for the children in our care and want to continue the work we love with support and recognition for our sector.
