The UVU arts major students need a microwave in the Noorda Center. Many of us don’t have enough time to walk to a different building during our 5 minute breaks during rehearsals. Students often are on campus all day, starting at 9 am and can’t get home to eat until well after 10 PM. There are food options all the way across campus, but the issues lie in the expense of the food or the time to get it. Students who bring food from home don’t have a place to heat it in time, leaving us with few food options, sometimes skipping meals entirely. A microwave in the Noorda would make it possible for hungry students to eat during rehearsal.
