Florida is having LGBTQ people leave the state
It's actually quite sad that LGBTQ people in Florida are actually leaving because the governor is scaring people who are LGBTQ by spreading lies and disinformation about the LGBTQ community and what is sad is the fact that social media platforms don't fact check or kick people off the platforms for accusing people of the LGBTQ community for indoctrinating and grooming children and it's actually not true and for example when people report homophobic or transphobic comments on meta platforms such as Facebook or Instagram they'll respond back and say that it isn't a violation of community standards and it should be the only reason why I could think of them not taking action against such comments is because they are greedy and would rather put profit over the safety of the LGBTQ community and for that reason there needs to be talks of revising section 230 to where it protects the LGBTQ community and social media platforms need to be held partially responsible for the violence and killings that take place against the LGBTQ community and seriously I would say that it's past time but the president, the Senate and Congress need to take action because if they don't then more innocent lives will be taken because of lies, disinformation and propaganda that takes place on social media platforms.
