Transphobia in South America

South America has one of the highest rates of murder when it comes to the LGBTQ community in the way it is in the south America basically is the LGBTQ community has no rights and people of the LGBTQ community are often killed and it gets unreported. The United States has a problem with right wing politicians, right wing commenters and evangelicals who want to take away people's rights in the LGBTQ community in the sad thing is that there is nothing in place to help slow the trend of homophobia and transphobia because there isn't anything put in place to stop commenters, Republican politicians or evangelicals spreading false lies, disinformation and deformation of character and it does get past around social media platforms who have the tools to do something about it but refuse to do any fact checking and to often the platforms do nothing and say that the post or comment doesn't violate community standards because it should to many innocent people get killed because of lies and disinformation that turns into to hatred laws need to be put in place with right wing media and social media platforms that protect the LGBTQ community.
