‘Washington Diaries’ podcast focus on E-Bike regulation

Good morning and Congratulations to you all, our Coalition Superstars.
Last night we met our goal of 2100 signers. This week we saw our tally jump with 168 new signers and on Next Door our post received 3100 views in two days. We are providing the spark for a needed discussion of the hazards of e-bikes and the need for regulations.
This week we met with At Large Councilmember Elissa Silverman who agreed that we need controls on the littering of sidewalks with e-bikes and scooters. She expressed concerns for her aging parents as pedestrians. important for our Coalition campaign to meet all CMs and candidates for office, she offered to ask CM Charles Allen, the chair if the Council committee on transportation, to meet with us.
This Saturday we met candidate for Attorney General Manuel Rivera who agrees with us about the need for regulation. He studied our E-Bike Bill and offered some improvements.
Last night we were pleased to join Rhonda Hamilton, candidate for mayor, on her weekly ‘Washington Diaries’ podcast which focused on the work of our Coalition in e-bike regulation. Watch it here (20+) Facebook.
Our new goal is 2250 by Saturday Sept. 19. Thanks for all your efforts. Someone you know wants to sign.
