It is annoying how they force you into a character. You have zero choice what so ever. The only real reason for this is that people who weren't white males were forced into a white male character for years. This is not a good fix though because the character is randomized. So people like myself that have been forced into a white male character for a long time are still stuck with a character that does not match them. Meanwhile if you could choose your race and gender I would be able to play as a black male, which I have wanted for a long while.
