Stop sharing fake animal rescue videos! They are full of horrific animal abuse!
The Issue
Fake animal rescue videos have become a new frontier for animal abuse. How many videos that suggest that some animal is suffering and a rescuer has arrived just in time to save it (while also incidentally being able to film it and post it on social media) have you seen? How happy were you to see when the animal was finally saved? Well, stop and think twice!
In fact, these rescue situations are set up by the so-called 'rescuers' who are making a living by torturing and abusing animals and then filming themselves 'saving' them.
Please take action against this continued animal suffering and exploitation in these videos. Stop watching and sharing them. Sign this petition and make the social media platforms take responsibility. YouTube/Facebook/Tik-Tok and other platforms could prevent such abuse by banning the users to post such videos.
These people force captive animals into dangerous or harmful situations to get as many clicks as possible and make money. By watching and sharing these posts you are helping them to make thousands of dollars on animal torture.
Please help me to stop this horrific animal cruelty.
Next time you see a cute little kitten, a dog, or a wild animal being 'rescued' please think hard about what kind of torture this innocent animal went through just because someone wants to be popular on Facebook.
