Facebook is supposed to be a social network, correct? And the point of a social network is to connect with old friends and new. Roleplayers do this very thing - connect with others to roleplay, which is a VERY SOCIAL phenomenon. The very fiber that keeps social networks like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Google+, and others going.
Facebook is taking issue with these roleplayer accounts because they are not the real identities of the people that play these characters and it violates that policy. However, these profiles on these accounts are harmless, and intended for fun - yet there are people with real life accounts who are bullies, pedophiles, hackers...the people who are being allowed on Facebook and committing even WORSE things than those who just go to roleplay, escape the strifes of the world and most of all, have fun. Bullying, pedophilia, hacking, wild parties are still going on with the help of Facebook and yet, innocent people who love to roleplay and express a love for a fandom are getting persecuted?
This is very similiar to racism, almost akin to racism. Prior to the civil rights movement, a white person committing a robbery would probably get 30 days in jail if that. A black person would get years in that very jail, if not worse. So Facebook turns a blind cheek to those who kill themselves due to bullying on their site but deactivates accounts of innocent people doing what they love? Completely unfair.
