A developer wants to destroy the ridge adjacent to our homes in Woodsdale-Greggsville, West Virginia, by removing 9 Million cubic yards of rock, the equivalent of 600,000 dump trucks that will run constantly for over 5 years.  We fear that by stripping off the ridge, resulting runoff, rock slides, and soil creep could damage our homes and historic neighborhood.    We consider this proposed development activity an uninsurable threat and need to persuade our City Council, Planning Commission, and Zoning Commission to vote against this development and protect the health, safety, and welfare of our families, property, and neighborhood.
