Stop censoring Kashmiri activists on Facebook; reinstate accounts of those locked out

This petition is initiated by Professor Dibyesh Anand, Naila Smith, Rollie Mukherjee, and Mary Scully to demand that Facebook respect the US Bill of Rights and stop censoring posts, videos, photos, commentary about the Indian occupation of Kashmir. Several activists, scholars, writers and others in places including Kashmir, India, Pakistan, UK and USA have been unfairly restricted for posts that are legally, ethically and socially responsible critiques of ongoing Indian atrocities. We urge the company to investigate the reasons behind such censorship. We demand Facebook stop deleting posts and locking out activists exercising their free speech rights to tell the truth about what is happening.
We also demand the reinstatement of the Facebook accounts of Kashmiri activists Ayaan Maqsood, Zubair Mir, Aasif Dada, Beenish Syed, Koshur Insaan, Obaid Misgar, Huma Dar, Omair Bhat, Shair Mehraj; journalists Satyadeep Deep; activist Muneeba Rubi Nawaz, whose accounts have been locked out because of their posts about Kashmir.
None of the posts removed have violated Facebook's community standards of hate speech or incitement to violence but have only portrayed the violence being perpetrated against the Kashmiri people who have a right to have their struggle reported honestly.
