Stop casual advertisement/ exploitation of exotic pets on Instagram

The Issue

I wish to put an end to the causal exploitation of exotic animals on Instagram such as "heresyourmonkeycontent" without a clear reason for owning an exotic pet such as owning a rescue. I believe any exotic pet pages should have a disclaimer as to why the pet is owned, and to discourage anyone else from participating in the exotic pet trade. I also believe regular Instagram pages that use this content, and promote it to a wider audience, should not be able to do so. It is encouraging a younger generation to believe that exotic pets should be owned simply for the purpose of being "cute" and denies the viewer any access to information on conservation of the exotic animals, the exploitation of the exotic pet trade, or the distress it may cause exotic animals to be in an unnatural environment such as a domestic house. I do believe conservation efforts of expressing how incredible exotic animals are should be accessible to everyone. However, if there is no clear conservation or rescue reason for owning the pet expressed on the posts or pages about the pets, I believe it is an expression of animal cruelty that allows the public to believe it is for their own personal enjoyment to own pets that in many states and countries, are illegal to own.
