Proposed building 100+ houses for Post Office Road. The small village of Lingwood's structure will be severely strained to say the least i.e. schools and no medical facilities. Access to the village is already dangerous enough without the extra number of vehicles this would bring. The proposed widening of Post office road near a child's play area is also a concern. The only site with a grade 1 Medieval Church will be lost forever. The proposed site is highest grade agricultural land, grades 1+2. The destruction of nearby habitat and very mature oak trees at jeopardy, possible water flooding may ensue. The plans for this have apparently been online for the past 5 years, but we are now just finding out. If they do not tell people of this, how and why would anyone check it out ? They built a new school recently for 35 children knowing full well about all these new houses.What went wrong there ?
