Hello my name is James I am creating this petition to save man's best friend. Reason for this is because I recently read a story on how 2 cops showed up to the wrong house and shot a pit bull in the head in front of his owner, mainly cause the new state Law says cops can now kill our friends if they are just being what they are. The pit bull was not doing anything wrong he was letting the cops pet him but when he got to the second cop the cop leered back pulled out his gun and shot him also note that this dog was a comfort friend for children with autism and other issues. I have a dog his name is Hoss he is my best friend and he is like a son and a brother to me i would take a bullet for him i don't want to see other peoples best friends end up this way. Dogs are like God they love unconditionally no matter how badly you treat them, they save our lives when we need it most even if it is just our hearts that need saving they are there. When you cry they sit at your feet and don't leave you, when you are sick they lick you hoping to make you better. Our friends are like children they need a guiding hand to show them right from wrong and they have spirits we are all connected. please help me in stopping this Law from continuing and making it so cops can be held responsible for their actions.
