With a membership of over 1.2 billion members, Facebook is currently the leader in social media. According to stasticbrain.com, 98% of 18-24 year old people use social media and 11% of the Earth's population uses Facebook. With such astounding numbers, surely Facebook would accept its moral responsibility to the public and ensure that only legal pages are posted on its site. That said, we respectively request that Facebook immediately cease in permitting the page, "Sporting Dog News Magazine" on its site. 

Numerous concerned members of Facebook have requested the removal of "Sporting Dog News Magazine" due to its promotion of dog fighting. Unfortunately our voices have not been heard and the page remains. Dog fighting is currently illegal in all 50 of the United States of America. Videos that depict fighting dogs, offer the stats of fighting dogs, and offer training advice, are absolutely an accessory to this illegal sport. 

By signing this petition and sharing it with your friends, co-workers, and other acquaintances, it is our sincere hope that Facebook will adhere to its own policies regarding the posting of illegal activities and immediately shut down the page "Sporting Dog News Magazine".
