As a daughter, a sister, a mother, an aunt, and hopefully one day a grandmother; I am reaching out for support to have a group on Facebook called Clovergender removed. This group promotes pedophilia and warrants having sex & emotional relationships with children based on 'gender identity'. They justify these beliefs by stating that they are children trapped in adults bodies. Pedophilia is not a medical condition nor does it warrant putting children in harm's way by using Facebook lax guidelines for group creation.

There have been multiple attempts to report this page but the response consistently states as follows, "We looked over the Page you reported, and it doesn't go against one of our specific Community Standards". The purpose of this petition is to express to Facebook that they should take their users concerns more seriously when pages are reported to them. Condoning pages like this only justifies the act of pedophilia and the repercussions in not removing this page could be very dangerous for children. 

According to Harvard Health Publishing, “Several reports have concluded that most people with pedophilic tendencies eventually act on their sexual urges in some way. Typically this involves exposing themselves to children, watching naked children, masturbating in front of children, or touching children's genital.” By removing this page, we are being proactive in stopping sexual abuse before it occurs.

Parents, grandparents, teachers, aunts, and uncles, let’s all come together to protect the innocence of our children and sign this petition for Facebook to remove this group.
