Peggy was just blocked again on Facebook for 30 days for no reason. Facebook will not give her the reason she was blocked nor allow her to appeal. This is the third time this year.

Peggy's mother was born deaf and Peggy was born with progressive nerve deafness. One of the reasons she retired early at 50, after a long career in media and advertising, was due to her inability to hear on the phone, in meetings and in large groups any longer. She is now literally 75% deaf. Facebook has given her a new lease on life. It provides her with the ability to talk to groups of people, debate her views with many people at once and be a part of the human race once again...where she is often unable to do so in real life.

She rarely speaks on the phone any longer and uses closed captioning for all TV and movies. She has an extremely difficult time hearing human dialogue - even hearing aids and amplification do not help. When Facebook blocks her for no reason - which they continue to do - they are literally REMOVING HER FROM THE ON-LINE COMMUNITY SHE BUILT TO OVERCOME HER DISABILITY.

It's wrong. It's discriminatory. It's evil. This is why she works so hard to be a fair and balanced news source and present researched and well documented points of view. She does not use hateful language. She doesn't not post fake news. This is why Facebook's discrimination upsets her so much. It's not just politics. It's PERSONAL.

On 11/5/18, Peggy was blocked for 30 days allegedly because of a photo she reposted which appears on the Occupy Democrat Logic page. Facebook said the photo violated their community standards and they removed it for hate speech. The photo still appears on Facebook on the Occupy Democrat Logic page, with over 750,000 followers, however, and has been shared over 2,000 times. 

They, 6 minutes later, when she tried to post the word "test" on her page, Facebook said THAT post violated their community standards and removed it. That was the last post she was allowed to post. However, it is still on her feed and ONLY she can see the post. You cannot. That means someone at Facebook must have put in place an algorithm to target her page for all posts and forgot to immediately take it down. They were caught.

Then, they asked Peggy if she wanted to appeal their decision. They provided an area to write a request for an appeal. After she finished providing evidence, they told her that her request could not be processed.

Finally, today, Facebook has shifted gears and said her posts were blocked, not because of hate speech, but because they were "unusual" and may or may not be in violation. But they were blocked anyway. This is the same process that Facebook used to block Peggy several times before. She has screen shots proving all this happened. 

She has over 25,000 followers on Facebook and Facebook continues to discriminate against her and silence her. THIS MUST STOP.
