The city of General Santos is beautiful as a whole but looking closely at its parts (barangays), people can tell that it is filled with garbage and it is not pleasing to the eyes. Also, living in a place with a stack of garbage is not good for your health. Some barangays also suffer from flood when a heavy rain falls and the major cause why these flood happen is because of the garbage. Teen impact wants to implement the proper waste disposal and segregation in the town of General Santos City especially in the downtown areas to help start a small solution that can solve a big problem. This enactment not only help make our city clean and green but also with the proper maintenance, it would last for the long run. A place is much more beautiful if it is clean. Families won't be suffering from problems caused by garbage and people will be healthier living in a neat place.
