In a little hidden corner of Instagram sits a thriving community of people who inspire and motivate each other daily. This community, the #debtfreecommunity, is a group of tens of thousands of people who encourage each other to pay off debt, better their financial future, and change their family tree. In the middle of this community, is @debtfreeinsunnyca. In her real life, she’s known as Amanda and she has been one of the leaders building up the debt free community with strong, dedicated, and determined people to better their futures. Amanda’s story has been the foundation of the debt free community, changing lives by the thousands.

Thousands of people watched and Amanda and her husband, Josh, paid off a whopping $133,000 in debt over the course of years. We turn to Amanda for advice, motivation, encouragement, and leadership daily. When the days are hard and we need to be lifted up, we turn to Amanda to lift our spirits and help us through. 

Yesterday (9/11/18), Amanda received notification that she had somehow violated Instagram’s terms and her account was deactivated. According to Instagram, because these mysterious terms were violated, her account will not be reactivated and her following in the debt free community is now lost. As a faithful follower of @debtfreeinsunnyca, I, along with thousands of others, can vouch for Amanda and say that no terms have been violated. Not only that, but Amanda has worked to build up a community of THOUSANDS on Instagram and has only made their platform stronger.
