The metaphysical community of Instagram has seen a recent onslaught of criminals who steal and operate under our identities. Their goal is to scam innocent people out of money by soliciting them via DM. Example scammer message:

"Grand Rising, dear. I can sense your strong energy. The gods have sent me to do a reading for you [such as Tarot], which I do charge for."

The real people DO NOT talk like this, nor do we EVER reach out to unexpecting people asking that they pay us for a service. When the solicited person sends payment via cashapp or paypal, the scammer then blocks them and gets away with their money before moving on to the next victim. Currently, I have 3 impersonators who are very active and often, successful in their crimes. 

There is an option to "report" these identity theft accounts but even after hundreds of reports, there is still no action taken by Instagram. These scammers are free to continue to crimes under our faces and names. This is a gross violation to the identity theft victims, who deserve help with this issue. 

Instagram/Meta - We are the small businesses who pay you for ads with our hard-earned money. Please show us support and help us shut down these impersonator accounts. They harm the reputations of the real people/small businesses and cause financial harm to those they steal from. Duplicated accounts should be shut down immediately!!!
