Recently, an Australian security researcher discovered that even after you sign out, facebook tracks everywhere you go on the internet (http://www.watoday.com.au/technology/technology-news/facebook-tracks-you-even-after-logging-out-20110926-1ksfk.html). Even while users are signed in, this is an unacceptable breach of privacy, especially given the user is never informed or given the option to disable it, but when a user signs out of something, they expect all interactions with the site to cease.
The aim of this petition is simple, make facebook stop tracking where users go on the internet, even when they are signed in, and especially when they are signed out.
