We want to request that you stop enabling animal cruelty on your site. It is very heart breaking to see how many pages with pictures of animals being tortured, dismembered, and killed are allowed on your platform and completely ignored by the report system currently in place.
We are glad to have a system where we can report any issues, but you MUST add animal cruelty to the small list of options. Why would you accept reports of violence, harmful behavior, hate speech, but not accept cases where animal cruelty is evidenced.
Many people have tried reporting bad cases where pictures and videos of dogs being thrown off buildings, hang in ropes, hit with hammers etc. are present and your team has responded with this: "Thank you for taking the time to report something that you feel may violate our Community Standards. Reports like yours are an important part of making Facebook a safe and welcoming environment. We reviewed the photo you reported for containing graphic violence and found it doesn't violate our community standard on graphic violence."
Graphic violence not only has to be on humans, we reported pictures of animals being tortured by insane human beings, this is not graphic violence? Would you be OK with your children watching this kinds of behavior on a website like Facebook?
Animals deserve respect and love as much as humans do.
