Force All Social Media to Remove Indecent Images of Children and Share Data with Police

The Issue

For those of you who stick to the mainstream, you will most likely be unaware that this is happening - but it is.

Facebook, Instagram and Twitter are allowing pedophiles and child traffickers to engage with each other in public profiles and groups all over the world. Even though hundreds of civilians have reported them, the reports generally go ignored until law enforcement officers are involved. If the police are not alerted by the public, predominantly these groups and profiles stay up, stay live and keep posting indecent images of children - the world's social media is now enabling pedophiles in plain sight - just let that sink in...

These criminals create groups such as "Cute Lovely Boys". The image above is from the named page. Hundreds of people had tried unsuccessfully to have the group removed via reporting to Facebook but one individual reported this group to the police.

The Metropolitan Police, London, were successful in having the group removed, but this is the tip of the iceberg. We cannot as concerned individuals keep calling and sending reports to the police - this is not a job for the public - this is the job of the Billionaires who own these sites. It's not as if they are short on budget. There is NOTHING stopping them assisting the law, but they choose to turn a blind eye.

How can we be told social media's algorithm can detect an adult breast but not a child's face or torso?

Some groups even quote how much it will cost to spend a night with one of their underage boys or girls - how is that going undetected? Child Trafficking is very real and this is how they are becoming even more successful. They are not even hidden anymore. They are in plain sight, on these platforms, searchable to ANYONE.

There are literally hundreds of these groups and profiles... all with disturbing images and videos.

Surely all social media giants have a social responsibility? Surely, they are obligated to ensure their space is safe? Well.. apparently not.

This petition requests that an international law be introduced requiring all social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to police their pages and work with individual city police departments. They have all the data the police need to make arrests - why are they not forced to share it when it clearly involves vulnerable children?

We need public awareness and global reform.

Please help this petition reach 100,000 signatures.

Surely together, we can force this change.
