Ths is important because in recent days vile images and comments have appeared on line.These inaccurately portray people with disabilities with inaccurate offensive language like "retard". Images of a child stuck to a window and reference to a persons intellect or lack thereof because of their disability. The content is in contrast to facebook policy which states "Our global community is growing everyday and we strive to welcome people to an environment free from abusive content". People with disabilities cannot be portrayed in these ways as disability hate crime is on the rise and all these things play there part in that increase happening.
