FACEBOOK is allowing the sale of Animals as well as users to post “Free” animals on their site. Groups and Individuals who are breeders have pages to sell Animals. These breeders are making money from the sale of these animals and when they are not able to sell all of them the remainder wind up in shelters, many of those high kill shelters. Many of these breeders are, BYB (back yard breeders) that just let their pets breed no matter what breed they are and try to sell them for profit!

Each year, approximately 2.7 million animals are euthanized (1.2 million dogs and 1.4 million cats)

Many “FREE” pets are used in Dogfighting rings as “bait dogs” for training purposes. The Dogfighter does not want to risk injury to their dogs so the “FREE” dogs are used, or they will take a “FREE” dog and train those to be fighters.

It’s not just dogs who become victims of dogfighting rings. Dogfighters also use cats or kittens as “bait” for training purposes.

Re-homing or a free Purebred, unaltered dogs will result in the dog being chosen by a puppy mill breeder to spend the rest of his/her life in a cage scared, unloved, and just a breeding machine!

There are people who troll Facebook and other Social Media sites just for “re-home” or “free” pets.

Many of these “free” pets are lost or stolen family pets that will been taken by predators to re-sale to make money or sold to laboratories.

Please help us help the Voiceless!
