Ask the FAA to stop the increase in aircraft traffic, noise, and pollution in Newport Beach

Ask the FAA to stop the increase in aircraft traffic, noise, and pollution in Newport Beach
Why this petition matters
As part of a nationwide effort to reduce fuel costs and optimize flight volume, the FAA is re-configuring flight paths out of John Wayne Airport in Orange County, CA which has noticeably impacted our community in the following ways:
-Increase in noise pollution from planes in a small, concentrated area
-Increase in air pollution over our communities
The FAA has made these changes without input from or regard for the communities affected by the changes. We have until OCTOBER 6th to appeal to the FAA to make the following changes:
-Adjust flight paths to fan out over the broadest range possible, without repeating the same path by a subsequent aircraft
-Adjust takeoff trajectory and elevation to the highest point possible
-Adjust engine thrust to the lowest level possible to minimize noise
-Perform semi-annual environmental impact study and report to manage the health, safety and quality of life of all affected residents
