Swedish Kennel Club's central board now directs strong criticism of the International Kennel Federation FCI. Besides the controversial decision to allow China to organize the World Expo 2019 believes SKK to FCI shortcomings on several other points.
In June voted FCI General Assembly until China as host country for the World Expo in 2019, a decision that met with strong criticism in many places and been much discussed in social media. SKK central board, CS, directed in a letter criticized both the choice of China as the host country for the WDS 2019 electoral process itself and the FCI way to handle the criticism that came from the Norwegian Kennel Klub, NKK.
Central Board believes that China has an unacceptable dog posture and confidence in the event the World Dog Show seriously damaged by being associated with China's terrible dog traditions.
CS also criticizes the decision-making itself felt arranged in advance. The main problem is that many small and new member countries have a completely different view of the business than the old established kennel clubs, while each country has one vote.
FCI's handling of the criticism from the Norwegian Kennel Club, with the threat of sanctions, believes CS totally unacceptable.
The Central Board will request a mandate from the next General Council Kennel changing SKK membership of FCI, alternatively withdraw from the organization.
Judges and exhibitors who plan to travel to China are invited to consider the CS views before decisions are taken.
