Exxon is a gasoline company that is one of the top 100 companies producing 71% of climate change. They originally discovered their effect on the environment in 1977, but kept it a secret so that they could sell gasoline.

Harvard analyzed 187 documents written by Exxon about climate change between the years 1977 and 2014. Considering the previous information, ExxonMobil has caused enough trouble as is. But according to InfluenceMap, “ExxonMobil was among five major oil companies who were collectively spending $195M per year lobbying to block climate change policies.” They also had a massive oil spill that affected 25 animal species, 17 of which did not recover in population.
