Subject: Request for Continuous Elevated Corridor from Diary Farm Road to Kompally on Nagpur Highway, Hyderabad, Telangana

We are writing to express our appreciation for the recent commencement of the elevated corridor construction from Paradise to Diary Farm Road on the Nagpur Highway in Hyderabad. This project represents a significant stride towards alleviating traffic congestion and improving connectivity in our area.

Nevertheless, we have substantial concerns regarding the planned development for the segment from Diary Farm Road to Medchal. The current proposal involves the construction of flyovers at Suchitra, High Tension Road, and Dulapally X Road, with the remaining portion set to be converted into a 6-lane road featuring narrow service roads. The phased construction of flyovers adds complexity to traffic management and does not offer a holistic solution to the existing traffic challenges.

Our community is grappling with notable issues under the current configuration, particularly relating to insufficient parking facilities, even for two-wheelers. The presence of numerous prominent malls on both sides of the road further compounds these challenges. The introduction of a planned Metro line will only exacerbate the problems associated with navigating these cramped service roads.
Kompally stands as a bustling residential hub with numerous housing projects in various stages of development. The existing infrastructure is ill-equipped to support this rapid expansion, resulting in considerable congestion and inconvenience for residents.

We firmly believe that any infrastructural enhancements should be durable and adaptable, catering to future growth needs for years to come. Regrettably, the current development blueprint falls short of meeting present demands and does not align with the forward-thinking stance of our Hon'ble Prime Minister and Union Transport Minister. Their vision underscores the importance of sustainable, enduring infrastructure development that serves the populace well into the future.
