"The Joey " , a beloved local establishment at Palm Beach NSW is seeking to reverse a decision from Northern Beaches Council to stop " The Joey" trading after 4pm each day from 6th April 2024 . The Owners  of "The Joey" wanted to extend trading hours to 11pm, seven nights a week, but this has been knocked back by the Northern Beaches Council 

Now , triggering a likely "challenge " in the Land & Environment Court .

Your signature will help us present a strong case to Northern Beaches Council to reverse their "original "decision and allow the restaurant to trade after 4pm and allow the Dining Room to open and create jobs .

The original application was rejected ,even though a nine -hole golf course separates "The Joey" from its nearest residential neighbours 

There were 132 submissions supporting the extended hours  for night trading and only 7 submissions against . The restaurant is so remote we are not sure how they  impact the neighbours that are 600 metres away .

The patrons cannot even enjoy the sunset at the present closing time of 4pm every day . The dining room will close and jobs lost from 6th April.
