Living on Clockhouse Road has become increasingly challenging for residents when it comes to parking. Our streets have turned into de facto parking lots for commuters who travel via London Road, leaving little to no space for those of us who call this area home. It's frustrating to return after a long day, only to find all available parking spaces have been occupied by non-residents, making a simple task like parking a daily struggle.

Nearby businesses and public transit routes make our area convenient for visitors, but the lack of all-day residential parking restrictions means that we, the residents, bear the inconvenience. Currently, our parking hours are limited, failing to accommodate the needs of those who live here and depend on accessible parking at all hours of the day. This limitation forces many to seek parking elsewhere, often blocks away from our homes, exposing us and our vehicles to safety risks and numerous additional inconveniences.

To address this issue, we are calling on the local council to revise the current parking regulations and extend the residents' parking times to cover all day. Doing so would ensure that residents have priority access to the parking spaces we desperately need and rightfully deserve.
